Whatever lies in store for your daughter or son, I wish for them to know that they were born to take on the world. I wish for them a long, happy life filled with kindness, generosity of spirit and an open heart.
My name is Gillian Sherry. I would be honored to capture the pure and simple innocence of your child as they hold the promise of a new tomorrow, so that one day they can look back and know they were beautiful, they were loved, and they were destined for great things from the very beginning.

Eda LeShan wrote that a “new baby is like the beginning of all things – wonder, hope, a dream of possibilities.” Yet nothing quite prepares you for the rollercoaster ride that will ensue. The ups and downs, the highs and lows, the unexpected turns and pure exhilaration. 
It is with great honor that I receive the opportunity to photograph each newborn, child and family. The childhood days are fleeting. This time will disappear in the blink of an eye. As your baby grows into a child and on to a teen, life continues to pick up speed, and how special it is to pause from time to time to savor the beauty of the moment.
Throughout the trials and tribulations of parenting, it’s impossible to think of anything more challenging, or more rewarding. In spite of the mistakes, the second guessing, the flying by the seat of your pants, in the end you will have done the best you could do. And that will be enough. And when the time comes for your angel to spread their wings, you will let them fly. When you look back you will know that you succeeded in guiding (sometimes gracefully, sometimes not) one of the leaders of tomorrow, one of the dreamers, the doers, the believers, the changemakers.
